Full description
Fused glass panel featuring a pebbled beach tufted with coloured sea-grass, sea-spray at the shoreline, and a glorious blue sea fading to a cloudless summer sky. A flock of sea birds hover overhead.
The panel has been created using two layers of glass to give a sense of depth, and decorated with coloured art glass powders and glass stringers to build up the scene. Several kiln firings were required to achieve the effect. The foreground grasses are softly textured to give a pleasing tactile quality.
A lovely gift idea, or why not just treat yourself.
The panel measures 13.5cm x 8cm and is supplied with a clear acrylic stand, ready for displaying. The stand will be supplied flat-packed to keep postage costs down.
