I am very excited to introduce my 3D Birds with Attitude Collection. This is my favorite piece and this bird is made from streaky orange stained glass with brass wire hair and tail work. All of these birds represent great characters and they stand out with their unique hairstyles and love of colour. They can bring lots of personality and joy to your home decor perched on the windowsill amongst your plants, on a desk or bookshelf. The orange bird featured in this listing is made from beautiful and vibrant opaque streaky stained glass. With addition of natural light the colour of glass intensifies even more.
These birds have been designed and handmade in my studio in Dunblane, Scotland where I live and work using traditional Tiffany technique. I captured some of the process in the pictures.
Birds with Attitude were born from my curiosity about the world of birds and their behaviours that is somewhat limited by ornithophobia, irrational fear of birds that I struggled with most of my life and which I am trying to overcome by gradually exposing myself to birds.
These birds have been created with lots of care and great attention to details. They come wrapped in tissue paper and in plastic free branded packaging.
