Hi, I'm Bekki. Welcome to my shop

My Wildflower textile art purse was nominated for the National Needlecraft Award 2019 for 'best use of embroidery in fashion and accessories'. Check out my new textile art purse collection

A friend who has a chronic illness said she wished she had a way to say ‘I feel ill but I don’t want to talk about it’. So I designed these little ‘n’ round brooches to do just that

Full description

A round brooch in pillar box red wool felt with the word ‘ouch’ embroidered in a warm yellow cotton thread. Above and below the word there are simple flowers and leaves in blue and green.

The design has been stitched onto thick wool felt so it is nice and sturdy. A standard metal brooch back is securely attached to the back of the brooch.

This is part of my chronic illness awareness range and the word ‘ouch’ can mean whatever you need it to mean. Wear this pretty brooch when you want people to know that you need a little bit more space or time to deal with your illness even when you don’t feel like talking about it. Only those you wish to tell need to know what the brooch means for you so you will have your cheerleaders rooting for you on the tough days. Of course you can also wear it simply because it’s cute and fun.

Measures approx. 3cm
