Full description
A stunning landscape picture of a gate in a dry stone wall with a path leading down to a stream with hills rising behind. Sheep are grazing in a field enclosed by a fence with hand embroidered wild flowers growing by its edge. The dry stone walls also has a scattering of hand embroidered wild flowers at its base. on one side of the river is a marshy field with flowers and grasses growing amongst the grass.
Needle felted onto vintage blanket embellished with hand embroidering to add depth. Lots of hand embroidered French knots for flowers. Wool curls add texture.
Framed in a wood frame without glass measuring 17.5 ins square, 44 cms square;
