Full description
This is a needle felted textile art picture of swans swimming on a lake. The background of this seascape has been created using strips of coloured silk fabric needle felted to a felt base. Wool and silk fibres have been used to blend the colours. The springtime trees have been added using woollen strands and small woollen balls while the swans have been cut from a piece of 100% wool felt and needle felted into place. The needle felting process binds the fibres and fabric together without the need for stitching and adds texture to the surface of the picture.
The picture has been mounted using a black and white card mount and can be purchased mounted or framed in a simple black frame, dimensions given below.

The frame has a hanging loop and a prop stand allowing the picture to be hung on the wall or freestanding.
