Handmade needle felted heart pin. Using red roving wool I hand needle felt with a singular needle and edge with my signature metal zip detail.
Wool is the traditional gift for a 7th wedding anniversary in the UK. Wool symbolizes the warmth, comfort, and resilience that are essential to a long-lasting marriage.
Also making the perfect small gift for far flung friends and family, as the heart pin can be popped in an envelope and posted as a large letter. Making a thoughtful gift, as you can pin either on the outer or inside of a jacket - a special reminder of your love.
The brooch feels soft, very tactile and light in weight, with firm structure and strength from the metal edging detail that gives a lovely glint in the sunshine. Finished with a metal butterfly clutch pin badge back - they're so easy to wear with jackets, jumpers, hats, bags, on lanyards - you name it.
