As an avid Science Fiction fan I am drawn to aerial imagery of Earth and other Worlds and thus this series was born. Using the spherical shape of planets I use glaze and clay relief to sculpt terrain that forms a portal to another place. That place could be a beautiful lake on Earth or it could be the gaseous atmosphere of an alien world.

Inspired by the Aerial views of Earth this piece is made from porcelain and finished with my signature emerald and sapphire crackle and crystalline glaze.
