The joy of vintage needlework books is not necessarily the instructions (although they're always spot-on and all you need) but their glorious mid-century designs. This wonderful hardback from 1966 by Irene Preston Miller and Winifred Lubell is packed full of black and white and colour photos and drawings that capture another era of embroidery design. A rare treasure.
