Full description
A mini version of a woollen sculpture of a badger. This badger has been needle felted using woollen fibres and a barbed felting needle that binds the fibres together and sculpts them into shape. White core fibres form the basic shape after which a top coat of appropriately coloured wool fibres is added. The legs have been made over wire formers to add strength and stability and the eyes are beaded.
The badger has been mounted on a 10cm x 6cm oval wooden base covered in artificial grass. The badger stands approximately 5cm tall and 10cm long.
