Abalone is a type of mollusc found all over the world. The inside of the shell is layered with nacre (mother of pearl) in beautiful, iridescent colours. The shell is very thick and strong, and makes beautiful beads for use in jewellery making.
Valued in many ancient cultures, Abalone is thought to bring mental clarity, serenity, strength and wisdom.
Shell Pearls are man-made using nacre, the same material that makes natural pearls, and are considered the best replicas you can get. The ones I have used here are a beautiful forest green with a lovely sheen.
Pearls are thought to be a calming gem, and have long been associated with integrity, purity, loyalty and faith.
Pearl is the traditional birthstone for June and Gemini, the stone for the 30th wedding anniversary, and has been associated with love and marriage for thousands of years.

Full description
Striking bracelet of 4mm forest green Shell Pearls separated by 1.8mm gold vermeil spacer beads and embellished with 4mm top quality Austrian crystal bicones in a colour called 'peridot satin'.
In the centre is a 10mm square Abalone shell bead with gorgeous iridescent markings of green, purple and red on a shimmering fawn background.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with 18k gold.
The bracelet fastens with a Tibetan style heart shaped toggle clasp in an antique gold finish.
Handmade in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK, this would make a lovely gift for a birthday, anniversary, bridesmaid, best friend - or as a treat for yourself.
Especially suited for a June birthday or 30th wedding anniversary, as Pearl is the birthstone for June and the stone for the 30th wedding anniversary.
This bracelet measures approximately 7.25 inches (18cm).
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
