I was inspired to make this bear when I came across this lovely yellow mohair, it reminded me of daffodils. Obviously the contrasting green represents the leaves and then I went on to make the leafy collar and added butterflies. Daffodil was born!

Full description
Here is Daffodil, a hand made bear standing 7 inches tall and sitting 5 inches high. She is made from a lovely yellow long pile sparse mohair and has green felt inner ears, paw and foot pads. She also has a green felt collar representing leaves and this has a couple of little butterflies on. She has black glass eyes and an embroidered green nose. She is filled with plastic pellets at the bottom of her body and the tops of her legs for added weight. Arms and legs are jointed the old traditional way using buttons and extra strong thread for smooth movement which enables her to pose. Included is her name tag and care instructions. She represents the Daffodil flower and is a great gift at any time but a timely one for Mother's Day.
