I am inspired by my deep love of the countryside and its ability to uplift and calm in our busy, often overwhelming world. I live at the foot of the South Downs in Worthing, West Sussex and I often photograph the flowers I discover on walks with my family and love painting them in my small studio. I am a graphic designer of 22 years by trade and the ability to turn my paintings into prints and patterns enables me to merge my passion for art and design.

My luxury hand-painted Poppy To Do List brings the colour and beauty of nature to your daily planning, shopping lists and home office. It is not just a functional planner, it's a beautiful piece of art. Created by me, Katy Hardcastle, founder of Skip & Oat, this notepad features my delicate hand-painted poppies, daisies, and buzzing bees in vibrant acrylics, inspired by the natural beauty of Sussex, where I live by the sea.
