Hi, I am so glad you found me, you might already know me from my other shop Bags of Elegance, but here at the Upcycling Textile Studio you will find that all of the items have been upcycled from something old to something new.
The kimono dressing gowns are a favourite of mine and are all made from duvet covers or lightweight curtains
There is so much fabric in an unwanted duvet cover the options for making clothes is endless, this skirt is right on trend this summer and very wearable

Gipsy skirt upcycled textile 3 tier long elasticated waist green floral skirt size medium / large
You can be bang on trend this summer with this upcycled textile studio 3 tier floral gipsy skirt.
This is a unique one of a kind skirt that has been upcycled from an unwanted duvet cover, it's made up of 3 tiers, the top tier has an elasticated waist and a draw string to pull it up to fit comfortably. As this skirts is made from 3 tiers of fabric that have been gathered it has loads of fabric in it and is extremely full.
It features raw edges that have been cut with pinking shears, therefore it will fray to a certain extent, just adding to it's overall character. Th main seams are all overlocked for a professional finish. I have stitched my brand label inside the seam as well as a label from the original duvet cover with all of the care instructions.
The firts top layer is approx 8" deep, the other 2 layers are approx 14" deep
