This piece is inspired by the organic tendrils overlaying regular brickwork in the 'Tomb Raider' temple at Angkor in modern day Cambodia. This motif also has an intertwined Celtic knot feel as I used the over/under appearance of knotted rope formed with rows of half hitches winding their way around the regular square knot background.
