I was brought up in a house filled with Laura Ashley wallpaper and curtains and can remember poring over my mother's collection of old catalogues and choosing which patterns I liked best when I was really quite tiny - at one point I had matching red wallpaper and curtains which I adored!
As a result I can never resist snapping up fabric in some of the older designs as it feels like taking a trip down memory lane. I'm always misplacing shopping bags so I like to have plenty around the house and in the car so that I'm never without!

Perfect for Summer, this gorgeous floral shopping bag is made from a remnant of Laura Ashley fabric featuring a garden posy design on a royal blue background; it is lined with a co-ordinating pale blue ticking stripe cotton fabric.
The bag is super spacious and will fold up to fit neatly into your handbag, but is large enough to fit all manner of goodies, from library books to lunchboxes.
It measures approximately 47cm x 37 cm and the straps are long enough to wear as a shoulder bag. I've tried to show it's size in relation to a magazine in the last photograph to give you an idea of just how gloriously capacious it is!
Free 1st class postage is included in the price.
NB I bought the fabric 'as new' but as it is vintage it may have the odd flaw
