Welcome to my shop!
Here I sell art prints of my original drawings and paintings, some original artworks and a small selection of hand embroideries.
I love creating, whether it's on paper or fabric and I'm inspired by many things, especially nature. I love small details and the meditative process of creating intricate details at a slow pace.
I wanted to create a celestial trio of artworks- Sun, Moon and Star. I was excited by the idea of all the tiny details I could get within the drawings. I have seen many sun and moon drawings by various artists,but I wanted to create my own versions.
I love to include sparkle and shine elements into my artworks, so the original three artworks all have gold ink and gold watercolour within them.
The story of this particular one off is that the printed versions of my originals were lacking shine, so I decided to put it back in by hand. Time consuming, but also satisfying-especially using the gold leaf!
Just a note on the photos- it is quite difficult to photograph the shine of the gold leaf. The best representation of the overall colour of the artwork is the first main photo-the paper is a slight off white colour, not the bright white it appears to be in the second two photos.

A One of a kind A4 Giclee art print, hand finished with gold leaf, gold ink and gold watercolour wash. Taken from an original hand drawing of a slumbering sun coming out from behind the clouds.
Printed on Hahnemuhle German Etching 310gsm paper, which has a watercolour paper texture.
