Crocheted in gorgeous shades of acrylic yarn from my over flowing scrappy basket which is home to all my 'odds and ends' of yarn.
I hate waste and making granny squares is perfect for using up left over yarn from other projects right down to the littlest bits.
For this scrappy blanket I picked a limited palette of yarn colours and mixed two different sizes of granny square to make a different joining pattern than I usually make.
I absolutely love it and I think I've discovered some of my now favourite yarn colours!
For my signature giant bobble border I used the shades of Blue from the main blanket and crossed my fingers I'd have enough to finish it (I did, with just the tiniest pieces left!)
It measures a generous 105cm (41.5") square not including the border.
It will be sent to you inside a drawstring organza bag that not only is perfect for using to gift and for storage but perfect for popping the blanket inside before washing so it won't snag on anything else in the wash. It is machine washable on a gentle cycle and I recommend air/line drying.
