Here I sell art prints of my original drawings and paintings, some original artworks and a small selection of hand embroideries.
I love creating, whether it's on paper or fabric and I'm inspired by many things, especially nature. I love small details and the meditative process of creating intricate details at a slow pace.
This is another tree inspired by one from Burnham Beeches forest, a place I love to visit often.
The tree which inspired this piece was particularly characterful, the way it stood with it's very wide trunk and then almost split in half with two main sections going up.
I imagined that this hefty trunk was so wide as it accomodated a large hidden doorway, which leads to another world. I saw the large knot in the centre as a magical eye, watching who enters the doorway, guarding the way.
Moths and butterflies are attracted by the moon above, but also by the shimmering light coming from the slightly open doorway.
The original artwork began as a rough pencil layout and was then worked over the top in various sized black fine liner ink pens. Gold ink was used for highlights.
These art prints are each hand finished with gold watercolour.

Black and White nature inspired art print of my original watercolour,ink pen and gold ink drawing.
This Giclee print is on thick high quality Hahnemuhle German Etching 310gsm matt paper, which has a watercolour paper textured finish.
This print is hand finished with gold watercolour details, therefore each print will be slightly different in these gold areas.
The print is A4 size.
