I love creating, whether it's on paper or fabric and I'm inspired by many things, especially nature. I love small details and the meditative process of creating intricate details at a slow pace.

A 10x10" Giclee Art print.
I'm a bit obssessed with butterflies! I've created a lot in over 25 years of illustrating!
I wanted to create a butterfly which evoked the beauty, mystery and magic of nature.
The metamorphosis of a butterfly is in itself magical and I tried to convey this element of magic in the artwork by making an almost out of this world ethereal creature.
Drawn by hand using a Wacom tablet and pen in Photoshop. Many hours of drawing went into this piece, weaving leaf shapes, flowers and textures together to give a multi layered dreamy quality.
Each print is hand finished with touches of gold watercolour paint for added sparkle.
