Full description

Naturally hand dyed square silk scarf, measuring 55cm x 55cm.

Fine silk with a natural sheen when pressed. All scarves have a rolled hem and are hand stitched so please take care when hanging or washing.

All of my fibres are mordanted with the soya milk method.

As they have been dyed naturally and no chemicals have been used the colours made fade slightly and become less vibrant over time, keep out of direct sunlight as the colours don't like it!

Please keep in mind that all pieces have been hand cut or torn so wont be perfect.

I have tried to capture the true colour of my fibres but allowances should be made for different monitors and phone screens.

Washing tips:

I recommend to hand wash in cool water with a gentle detergent, if a washing machine is used I would wash with similar colours or individually as some excess colour may run, this is normal for natural dye. Let dry naturally out of direct sunlight.
