I love to upcycle materials and make them a home for felted creations. This Whisky Cask Stave is from a local distillery, and has made a great perch for this Foxy Character.

Full description
Coral the Fox has been hand made from felted wool around a wire armature. She has a gently poseable tail, glass eyes, real horsehair whiskers (from my own horses!) and is perched on an upcycled oak whisky stave. The stave has been sanded, but left with some imperfection to keep its character, then finished with an antique wax to bring out the beautiful colours in the wood.
Felted sculptures with armature take many hours to craft, but each results in a unique sculpture with its own personality!
Coral measures approx 14cm tall, with the whole piece measuring approx 26cm tall.
Please Note: Needle felted sculptures and embroidaries are not toys, and are intended for display purposes only. Keep away from children and pets due to small parts, and risk of choking. To keep your felted piece in tip top condition, keep away from direct sources of heat and moisture.
