Inspired by a desire to find fun ways of using upcycled whisky staves from my local area in the Highlands of Scotland.

Full description
These little felted Screech Owls are handmade from soft carded wool, and are mounted on upcycled whisky staves. Each stave has been sanded, drilled to house a tiny gold polymer clay star, before being painted and sealed with a gloss varnish.
The Owls are hand crafted from felted wool, and each has big hand coloured glass eyes.
Each pieces measures approx 16.5cm long x 9cm wide. They can be hung on the wall for display via a string on the back.
Please Note: Needle felted sculptures and embroidaries are not toys, and are intended for display purposes only. Keep away from children and pets due to small parts, and risk of choking. To keep your felted piece in tip top condition, keep away from direct sources of heat and moisture.
