Inspired by the Barn Owls that nest and hunt in the fields and woodlands around my home in the Highlands! And making use of local upcycled materials.

Full description
A hand felted Brn Owl, mounted on upcycled oak whisky cask. The cask wood has been sanded, painted and finished with a gloss varnish. A small hole drilled in top houses a tiny gold polymer clay star!
The Barn Owl has been handmade from felted corridale wool, with a blend of soft short fibre wools in the face. She has real black glass eyes, and a curious expression as she peeks out from her hidey hole!
The piece measures approx 17cm long x 8cm wide, and has a string on the back for hanging on the wall.
Please Note: Needle felted sculptures and embroidaries are not toys, and are intended for display purposes only. Keep away from children and pets due to small parts, and risk of choking. To keep your felted piece in tip top condition, keep away from direct sources of heat and moisture.
