Hi and welcome to Born Again Bears. This name began as the first bears I made were as keepsakes and memories, made by bringing precious items back to new beginnings as special bears to cherish.
I enjoy making all different types and sizes of bears and indeed mice and have enjoyed becoming part of the Folksy family as an outlet for this.
International postage is a new area for me and I will happily combine postage. Please contact me for a price for this and I will do what I can to keep the cost as low as possible.

Full description
Strawberry mouse is only 3.5 inches tall but still fully jointed and, as you can see, very posable. She has been cut from a beautiful soft piece of Champagne coloured vintage velvet with pink felt paws and ears and with a pink cotton tail. Each piece is hand stitched, turned then filled and jointed in the same way a larger figure is made but at this scale it is a very fiddly job as you can imagine. Strawberry has tiny black Onyx eyes stitched in and a little pink embroidered nose and claws.
The strawberry leaf is made from two shades of Dupion silk, lightly padded and embroidered. It has a crocheted edging which mimics the actual leaf. The strawberry is knitted and embellished with tiny french knot 'seeds' and a crocheted stalk. Strawberry is very proudly demonstrating both sides of her leaf and seems very pleased with her find of such a big berry.
In one of the photos she is sitting outside the back door of the tree house on the way to visit her friends.
Strawberry is a collectors' item and not a toy for young children.
I will send her via Royal Mail 24 hour tracked wrapped in tissue paper inside a clean reused box.
