I have a passion for Fairisle knitting, and was lucky enough to visit Shetland and Fair Isle in 2016. This led me to use natural dyes to achieve the shades I wanted in my knitting, as they reflect the colours of nature and always complement each other. I felt inspired by the people of Shetland, and the beautiful landscapes of the islands.

Full description
Blue-Faced Leicester wool dyed with chlorophyllin, ideal for Fairisle knitting and other colour work. Available in 25g hanks. Approx 80m long. Very soft with a natural lustre, and is pale green in colour. The yarn is 4ply and knits up to approx 30st and 32 rows to 10cm/4in over Fairisle patterning with 3.25mm needles. However, always knit your own tension swatch as knitters vary. Dye lot 02/160325.
