This is a hand painted large stone depicting Glastonbury Tor against a sunrise background -

Painted with artists quality acrylic paints then varnished with several coats to protect the artwork.
This stone makes for a lovely ornament, either in the home or in the garden.
Glastonbury Tor is an iconic and highly spiritual and meaningful place in Somerset which attracts thousands of people every year and is a very atmospheric and beautiful sight.
Many people believe that this is the orignal Isle of Avalon. It been a place of pilgramage for both Christians and Pagans for hundreds of years. Some people believe that this is the place of the Holy Grail and others believe that you can pass into the faery realm through a hidden cave here. Jesus is said to have visited here with his father Joseph when he was a child.
Whatever you believe this is a magical place, one of my favourite places on earth and that is why I love to paint and interpret it.
Due to increased postal charges (again) I have had to charge a little more due to the weight.
Take special care with this stone, you don't want it dropping on a toe of foot!
If placing in the garden re-varnish about once a year with yacht varnish to prevent the artwork deteriorationg too much - be aware that it should be brought indoors during severe weather
