I was asked to do the original as a commission for someone who wanted it to feature flowers, insects and birds found in their garden. It's since become one of my most popular designs.
I'm always happy to work on a commission if you have a similar idea that you'd like me to do.

Poppies and Goldfinch – A5 Art Print

Based on an original textile artwork, the piece began as a screen print on fabric and was then brought to life with layers of embroidery, hand-stitched details, and sparkling seed beads. These tiny embellishments gave the original a unique texture—and the print beautifully captures that dimensional quality.
At the heart of the design is a Goldfinch, perched among a lively tangle of Poppies, Cornflowers, Daisies, and a visiting Bumblebee. Every element was carefully crafted, taking weeks of detailed work to complete.

Mounted versions measure 10" x 12" on the outside, making it easy to find a standard frame to suit.
