Full description
My Moon Hares are paintings on silk of Mystical Moon Hares themed around the 8 Sabbats, The Seasonal Festivals on The Wheel of the Year. You have Yule, Imbolic, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas, Mabon & Samhain.
This painting is Lammas Moon Hare. The festival marking the beginning of the harvest season.
Lammas Moon Hare is hand painted on silk and measures approx 10” x 10”. It is outlined in metallic gutta on heavyweight silk. The silk is then mounted onto acid free self adhesive board or sheets for rigidity.
The painting is presented in a white colour mount with 2” borders with backing board and wrapped for protection in a clear cellophane wrap.
Mounted prints and printed cards of ‘Lammas Moon Hare’ are also available.
This painting will be done specifically to order and as it’s being painted especially for you it may vary slightly from the photos. As it is hand painted please expect variations in the colour hues and exact outlines, however this makes each painting unique.
This is not a silk screen print but an original hand painted design on silk.
Also, actual colours may look slightly different due to individual screen settings.
Thank you for looking. Please contact me if you have any questions.
