I have had a thing about sewing for ever and have made most things. As a result I have collected fabrics from all over. Also some lovely people gift me fabric remnants and upholstery and sometimes it takes a while for me to find the right project for such one off fabrics. I really dislike discarding materials that I can sew into something wearable or decorative. I try to bring individuality to my gift ideas, so no one will ever be given the same.

Full description
This was a pair of 501 Levi jeans which had been worn into a wonderfully pliable denim. I have constructed this attractive and useful bag from the leg ends and lined the body with a bright yellow/orange cotton print from India.
I have used strong upholstery thread on the denim to keep it together for more years to come and re sewn the leather label back into prominence on the front. I have attached a wristlet key fob to the D ring on the handle. The base has boxed corners to provide space.
I have used strong strap webbing to complete a unique bag.
