I have made all sorts of journals over the last decade, but when it comes to taking a journal out into nature a landscape one seems to be my favourite. Recently I was going to a forest bathing session and wanted a small journal, so quickly put together something similar to this, made from some scraps I had leftover from a bigger journal, and I immediately loved it. The small size is perfect for bullet points and snippets of information, ideas and general musings. Some little sketches, or maybe even a quick watercolour. or, my favourite, the beginnings of a poem...

Full description
A handy little landscape journal measuring 3 inches by 6 inches (7.5 cm by 15 cm approximately). 40 sides of white paper perfect for sketching or writing (I have also used the paper for painting. Depending on the medium used there may be some paper buckling). Handmade using Kraft card, and digitally purchased and printed decorative papers (the same paper as used for the pages). Three hole binding using craft cotton, which then wraps around the journal to keep it closed. A little butterfly is a decorative feature.
As a handmade item, I do not claim them as perfectly bound, maybe imperfectly perfect, but they are created with intention, and each one is unique. The inner pages step down in size from 5 and three quarter inches to 5 and a quarter (14.5 cm to 13.5 approximately). There is a small pocket on the inside back cover.
Perfect for a notebook on the go for field trips into nature, or to capture thoughts in the moment. For capturing JOY as we move towards the glorious summer months.
Lovely as a gift paired with a nice pen, or a travellers set of watercolour paints.
