The sapphire palette was inspired by a late-summer sky over the Thames: mauve at the horizon, indigo overhead, and fleeting smudges of pink dusk. I wanted to bottle that moment, sanding each bead to a soft matt finish that feels like chalky twilight, then splicing it with silver chain to mirror the river’s glinting surface.

- 8 mm natural, untreated multi-colour sapphire beads – softly mattified to reveal their subtle, moody hues.
- Sterling-silver chain and fittings – hallmarked, nickel-free and hand-soldered for strength.
- Toggle clasp etched with fine concentric lines for tactile interest; easy to fasten solo.
- Strung, knotted and finished by hand in my London studio; each piece is uniquely shaded.
