I designed this bracelet with a matching necklace after a visit to the V&A’s “Fashioning Masculinities” exhibit. Vintage pearl strands sat alongside bold metal chains, highlighting how tradition can be re-imagined for today. I sketched this half-and-half layout on the Tube ride home, pairing pearls for timeless poise with silver links for city edge, and chose a four-leaf-clover clasp to symbolise a lucky meeting of past and present.

Classic meets contemporary in this half-and-half bracelet featuring luminous ivory freshwater pearls on one side and a polished sterling-silver rolo chain on the other.
