Full description
A hand stamped vintage silverplated soup spoon with the words EXCLUSIVE SCOOP added to the bowl in block lettering. Perfect gift for a journalist you know. It's approx. 17.5cm long and has a plain 'old english' style handle.
Please note this is a vintage, pre-owned item and it does have wear marks and a couple of fairly obvious flaws in the plating, particularly the one under the second 'o' of SCOOP. You will receive the spoon shown in the photos so please do look carefully at the photos before deciding to purchase. The overall appearance is nice and shiny and the flaws don't affect its useability as a spoon. But it's in the Bargain Bin anyway.
The black in the lettering (very few handstampers seem to bother to tell you this but since it's potentially going in someone's mouth I think it's important!) is a non-toxic, water-based acrylic pigment. Hand washing will make it last longer than chucking it in the dishwasher.
