The Pentagram is a symbol of protection and to ward off evil. The five points represent the five elements of air, fire, water, earth, and spirit. For many Wiccans and Pagans the pentagram is a symbol that represents magic and magical workings as a whole.
The ancient Egyptians who believed it had healing abilities and could ward off evil spirits and protect against disease. In India, it was used as a symbol of wealth. The Romans also prized Peridot for its beauty and thought it could bring good luck. Peridot is associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra, and is thought to bring personal power, self-confidence and mental clarity. It is also related to the Heart Chakra, and associated with love, compassion, and acceptance. It brings the wearer good luck, protection and healing. A Greek Legend goes that Peridot was one of the Goddess Aphrodite's favourite stones, and she used it to bring good luck and protection to those who wore it.
