Bring a touch of peaceful river life into your home with this hand-drawn original artwork. Inspired by quiet moments spent by the water, this little scene shows a curious heron watching fish glide through the river below. This is one of my original river scene drawings inspired by the Medina River that is close to where I live on the Isle of Wight. The drawing is framed in a beautiful antique frame made from solid wood with metal details in each corner. The complete artwork, including frame, measures 22 x 17 cm (8.5 x 6.5 inches). The frame has a wooden stand on the back so that the artwork can be displayed on a shelf.
I’m based on the Isle of Wight and I’m constantly inspired by the nature around me – riverbanks, sea birds, and peaceful wild spaces. This piece was drawn with all of that in mind and would be a perfect gift for nature lovers, bird watchers and anyone looking for a thoughtful handmade gift.
