Deejavu is the home of original art by international selling artist Dee Summers (yes that is me). I am a self-taught artist and have been painting, creating and selling original works of art for many years. My work can be quite eclectic but much of it reflects my love of bold colour and strong design culminating in eye-catching statement pieces which are a real feature. I live on the beautiful Isle of Wight, a small island just off the south coast of England. The beautiful landscapes, history, coastline and wildlife inspire much of my work. I have a lifelong love for oriental arts and crafts and you may be able to see this reflected in my original art style.
I create artwork that I love, and am humbled by the fantastic reviews I have received from my customers; a fact I don’t take lightly. Over the years I have used a range of mediums, but particularly enjoy working in acrylic on canvas and creating pen and ink drawings, which I colour using high pigment artists pencils. Following many years of painting and creating works of art, Deejavu was born in 2012 to offer my original art for sale. More recently, this has developed into recreating my more popular designs on to a range of products.
