After a brilliant time at the Uke Festival I am back and working on new designs. Keep your eyes peeled! Don't forget we love to take on your commissions so please get in touch if we can make something especially for you.
Ukuleles are so appealling. The iconic little size and the beautiful, curvy shape are crying out to be used as a fabric pattern design and where better to use that fabric than in a strap to hold up a uke?

Full description
This is the 'Inception' of ukulele straps. A ukulele covered ukulele strap holding up a ukulele.
It is made from a light natural linen and decorated with loads of coloured abstractions of little ukes. Each on has been individually hand painted in subtle, pretty pastel shades to complement the creamy, oaty colour of the fabric.
The painting was done freehand so, even though there may be other 'ukulele' ukulele straps one day, there will never be one exactly the same as this one. It is one of a kind.
The strap ends are hand-made in a matching linen and I have included a free, burgundy crochet 'shoe string' that is designed to be the perfect length for a ukulele. This can be used to tie the strap to the ukulele headstock if you only have a strap button on the body of your uke.
The strap is a comfortable 1.5 inches/3.8 cm wide, firm and fully adjustable from 36 inches/91cm to 61 inches/155cm in length. The 'furniture' is shiny, silver coloured metal.
We can only post to UK mainland addresses at the moment. Apologies for any inconvenience.
