Full description
This ceramic tile has been made from a textured stoneware clay. I have hand carved an image of a lady surrounded with flowers and a sparrow. This has been decorated with ceramic underglazes and fired in the kiln to a bisque firing. This has then gone into a second firing to make it non porous and nice and strong.
It measures 9 x 7cm x 0,8cm deep. Unfortunately it didn’t dry completely flat so it has a slight warp in it as shown in the photos.
This tile took many hours of delicate carving and painting but I am selling it at a reduced price because of the slight warping.
