This painting grew from my love of liminal spaces - the in-between hours when the world is quiet and something ancient stirs. Hares have always held a gentle enchantment for me, a soundless chiming of something that belongs more to story than to soil. A moment in time from the land of The Old Burrow where the paths that lead into the morning mist invite you to lose your way and find your heart.

They say if you walk the old paths before the sun fully rises, you might glimpse the hare between the bells. No one knows who tied the ribbons or who dropped the pocket watch. But the moment lingers - quiet, wild and a little strange.
A reminder, perhaps, that time slips sideways when no one is looking.
A square greetings card printed in the UK from an original water colour by me ( Catkin van Hoppe) on FSC paper. Comes with a craft envelope and is sealed in bio-based film. size is 15cm x 15 cm.
