I love making animal figures and I started making animal heads with the idea that they could be displayed on a wall. They start as a ball of clay and I have no idea what animal I am going to make until their shape tells me. And then I go with it!

A hand made ceramic cow head. Hand decorated with watercolour underglazes, underglaze pencils and then dipped in a transparent glaze.
40 mm height
47 mm wide from snout to back of head.
Unglazed bottom.
I make lots of animal figures. This could be one of a collection, maybe the start of a collection.
Or an ideal gift for someone who likes cows?!
