Full description
This sterling silver pendent has a poppy design and ruby gem stone. It is hand created by me using an impression die in a press. The design is then soldered to a sterling silver back plate, therefore there is a double layer of silver, making it a nice weight of just over 6.5 grams.
Patina was added to this pendant to bring out the detail. Excluding the bail, the pendent measures 40mm x 18mm.
This pendant comes with a sterling silver snake chain. When purchasing please indicate if you want a 16 or 18 inch chain.
Impression dies are created from antique hubs but unfortunately most of these companies have long gone out of business and only a few have collected and replicated these hubs for use in modern jewelery making.
This pendant is one of a kind. Being handmade, the exact necklace can never by replicated, similar can be created, but never exact!
