My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

Full description
This quirky, one-of-a-kind artwork would add a warming pop of colour to your home or make a lovely, original gift for a friend or relative.
The tile-effect paper collage is made with an eclectic mix of decorative papers from old books, vintage playing cards and origami papers. The picture has a nature theme and birds, deer and flowers feature in several of the images and patterns. I've chosen a muted colour palette of mossy greens, pinks and creams and the metallic gold line work in the origami papers adds a lovely sparkle when they catch the light.
The papers have been mounted onto black card and carefully arranged to create an interesting and harmonious artwork.
The picture is presented in a shadow box frame which measures approx 32.5cm outer edge, 25cm visible area inside mount and 3cm deep. There is glass in the front and a hanging hook on the back.
I've made a matching tag in case you're sending it as a gift.
Please note, the shots have been taken without glass to reduce glare.
