Agate is a form of Chalcedony, part of the Quartz family, and gets its name from the River Achates, in Sicily, where it was first found.
It is one of the oldest known minerals, used by the ancient Sumerians and Egyptians for ornaments and amulets.
Green Aventurine, like most green stones, is thought to bring inner peace, tranquility and enhance self-esteem.
It is sometimes called the the Stone of Luck, or the Gambler's stone, as it is believed that carrying a piece of Aventurine in the left pocket will attract wealth and good fortune.

Dainty bracelet of 4mm frosted Agate beads dyed in shades of green and yellow, with natural green Aventurine and quality Austrian crystal bicones in 'topaz', 'light topaz' and 'citrine'.
Fresh spring colours with plenty of sparkle.
Handmade in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK, this would make a welcome alternative to chocolate for Easter, as a gift for a birthday, anniversary, or a treat for yourself.
This bracelet measures approximately 6.75 inches (17cm), which is perfect for a 6 inch (15cm) wrist. Contact me via the button below my shop banner if you would like it made larger or smaller.
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
