Worry stones have been used since ancient times to aid concentration and promote mental well-being. Evidence has been found of their existence in Ancient Greece, Tibet, Ireland and Native American tribes.
As a neurodivergent individual, I often use stimming techniques to self-soothe when I feel overwhelmed, anxious, or need to concentrate. This personal need inspired me to create the Emotional Support Owl—a portable and discreet fidget tool that I can carry with me. It effectively helps enhance my focus, calm my nerves, and ground me in the present moment.

Full description
This charming galaxy-red owl is handcrafted from polymer clay using my unique design. It features a vibrant red colour enhanced with a subtle glittery effect. The owl has an indentation on its tummy and comes with a chain and a sturdy split ring, making it a thoughtful gift for anyone needing comfort or a self-care treat for yourself.
This owl can serve as a grounding tool during moments of anxiety or overwhelm. By focusing on the sensation of your thumb rubbing its tummy and taking deep breaths, you can find comfort and return to the present moment.
The owl is attached to a card that includes a poem I wrote about its purpose. You can easily detach the owl from the card for convenience, allowing you to attach it to your keys or handbag. Additionally, I’ve included a small organza bag in a complementary colour for safely storing your owl buddy if you prefer. I usually keep mine in the bag in my pocket when not in use, and when I use it, I put the split ring on my finger, which serves as an extra fidget tool while also ensuring I don’t drop my owl.
Since each owl is handcrafted, no two will be alike, but they will all be undeniably cute.
