Welcome to my shop. I hope you enjoy having a browse. I love working with textiles, making small and large items.

If you live in the Reading area you can come and see me at the Artists and Makers Fairs in Caversham
https://www.artistsandmakersfairs.co.uk. My next fair is the 12th April.

I am always happy to consider commissions and can personalise items. Just drop me an email pamccrafts@gmail.com.

You can follow me on FB and Instagram as well @pamccrafts.

All the items are hand sewn by me. I am increasingly thinking about sustainability with my work and am including more repurposed projects, and trying to use organic and natural fibres and fabrics.

I donate 10% of my sales to Launchpad, a charity working to prevent homelessness in Reading

IF YOU ARE ABLE TO COLLECT FROM ME IN RG4 I WILL REFUND POSTAGE

Full description

These textile brooches are made by stitching silk sari ribbons and remnants onto hessian. I have changed the way I make these and now each individual petal and leaf are made separately and stitched together. This gives the petals and leaves greater depth and makes for a more textured finish. Each brooch is backed with a coordinating cotton.

Please note each brooch is different and colours may vary slightly.

Approx size 13cm at the widest point x 10cm

They are mounted on card and include information about they are made and are protected by a cellophane envelope.

The sari silks are sourced from women in N India providing them with an income.

10% of my sales go to Launchpad, a charity working to prevent homelessness in Reading so your purchase will be helpful people at home and abroad.
