Full description
This 3D stained glass Family of Fish has been designed and handmade in Dunblane, Scotland from stained glass. The three fish are safely secured on a piece of driftwood found on the Scottish shore. I love using driftwood that I find on my coastal walks in my home decor pieces. They make every individual piece of my work very unique. I love the mysterious quality of the wood shaped by the see and shore.
The stained glass fish part of my work has been handcrafted using traditional stained glass Tiffany technique with lots of care and great attention to detail and secured to the wood with the use of drill and strong wood glue.
This piece can make a great gift for a marine life lover but also it can be symbolic of dynamics and relationships between humans making it a very unique gift for parents/carers, friends etc.

Finish - Black Polished - after applying silver solder, glasswork is treated with black patina to achieve black colour. It is then waxed and polished
