Full description
This is a shallow platter made from a lovely piece of Yew. It's quite a size at 314mm diameter and about 45mm deep and is quite heavy, but I think it's rather beautiful.I found the raw piece of wood at the back of the wood turning Clubhouse and immediately saw what it could become.
The platter has three feet on the base so that even if it moves (and wood, being an organic material will always move around slightly) it will always sit solidly on the table.
