I create bespoke wood turned items from local wood.

I am a wood turner living in the North East of Scotland. I've been turning for some years now and love creating bowls, platters, vases and all sorts of items, large and small.

Living where I do, we are visited frequently by ferocious winds, so getting a ready source of wood is no problem. I take the pieces of tree, cut them to shape, dry them out over s few years and cut them into blanks for use. Then, once the wood is dry, I turn whatever the piece of wood asks me to turn. It may be a bowl, or a vase, or a delicate little tea light, it becomes obvious once I've started.

Buying from me

I make wooden, hand turned objects from my workshop in the NE of Scotland. I try where possible to use locally sourced wood garnered from storm damage or trees felled in the course of forrest management. I never cut down a tree just for its wood.

The price stated in my listings includes second class post to anywhere in the UK. Overseas customers, please drop me a line and I'll tell you the postage cost.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
