I sourced the wood locally from a broken tree branch and used the larger pieces on another project, but the remaining shards inspired my work with wood and resin pendants. When the broken ends are encased in resin they resemble 3D miniature landscapes.

Full description
This pendant is about 6cm long and is handmade from a reclaimed, polished wood shard combined with clear resin containing fine fragments of light-catching copper. The reclaimed wood has a matte finish with the broken shard ends encased in the resin.
The pendant is sold with a faux suede, coffee-coloured, knotted cord with a drop of about 38cm.
