My textile degree included the history of fashion, and I was particularly interested in the development of beachwear. Glamour beachwear from the 1930s inspired this mixed-media screen print.
Unlike me, who displays no glamour when I am wild swimming!

Stencils are deliberately offset to add a border to give life to the screen-print image
Collage pieces from maps enhance details
The print comes with a 2mm white bevelled edge picture mount, which avoids shadows on the print. Protected by a cello bag, posted in a ‘Do Not Bend’ boarded envelope.
